PROFHILO®, PROFHILO® BODY and other Skin Boosters like SEVENTY HYAL 2000 and SUNEKOS® contain non-crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid (HA) that are used ultimately to promote the production of collagen and elastin in the dermal layers of our skin in turn improving skin tone, texture (reducing crepey skin), reducing the appearance of fine lines whilst adding a radiant glow through hydration.

Unlike Skin Boosters, Dermal Fillers differ as these are intended to replace areas of volume loss due to aging or contour and enhance existing features.

HOW LONG
DOES IT LAST?
Skin boosters will have an initial course of 2 - 3 sessions dependent on the product chosen and its associated protocol or other factors such as skin quality and client needs.

Once this initial course is complete, a maintenance dose is usually given around twice a year to maintain this new baseline result.

Profhilo has long been recognised as being the industry lead in skin boosters with its bio remodeling properties providing a ‘non-surgical face lift’ with patented NAHYCO® technology.
Profhilo utilises BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique for the face as well as body areas in order for a more even spread of the product resulting in all-over firmness, elasticity, and brightness through deep hydration.
Profhilo is aimed toward those aged over 30 with this group of clients seeing the most benefit.

Seventy Hyal 2000 is a next-generation high molecular weighted HA Skin Booster. This product aims to offer many results seen in Profhilo used for the face.

Like Profhilo, Seventy Hyal can also be utilised on the body (small body areas same as face pricing):

Sunekos Performa is a Skin Booster containing hyaluronic acid and a patented cluster of Amino Acids formulated specifically for the face and particularly effective in areas such as around the eye (periocular area) that can reduce the appearance of dark circles and bags, forehead and above the lips to reduce the appearance of static lines as well
The Sunekos® Performa protocol is a series of 3 sessions spaced 14 days apart.
Maintenance single dose is usually requested every 6 months to maintain results.

Am I suitable for Profhilo and other skin boosters?
Profhilo and other skin boosters are suitable for most people who would benefit from a collagen and elastin boost as well as their skin hydration properties. For Profhilo particularly, those aged between 30-55 tend to see the best results.

Can I use Profhilo to treat under the eye dark circles or forehead?
Although some providers use Profhilo under the eyes and forehead, we favour the use of Sunekos Performa for these areas as they have been formulated specifically for use and with proven results.

Do these injections hurt?
These injection can be slightly uncomfortable however anaesthetic is not usually required and we employ various techniques including a distraction tool to aid with the comfort of the client.

Will I look ‘overdone’?
No, Profhilo and other Skin Boosters contain non-crosslinked HA meaning that these are non-volumizing as they are only meant for collagen, elastin stimulation along with hydration unlike Dermal Fillers that are meant for contouring and volume loss.
